What kind of camp?

Our camp will be managed in a completely digital environment, over the DIGIAGE Discord Server, and training and conferences will be held via Zoom. In Discord, our volunteer mentors will deal with our participants one-on-one and contribute to the development of the scenarios they write. Our participants will create their scenarios through the SenEdit program. One of the first trainings of the camp will be on the details of how to use the SenEdit program.

I don't have any game development experience, but I have good ideas. Can I join, too?

Of course you can join. We have determined the primary target audience of our camp as anyone who likes to dream but wants support in making their dreams come true. We also include those who want to be professionally positioned in the sector, who are considering working in the media, design and communication sectors, among our priority targets. If you want to take part in any position in the gaming industry, you should definitely attend these trainings and conferences. Because everything starts with a dream. It is important to understand, those who can transform their dreams by understanding how they can put them on a more realistic ground win.

Will a certificate be given after the camp?

After our camp, a certificate of participation will be given as a result of the approval of your mentor, who is your manager. The mentor will measure your participation in the lessons and your effort, and will not score your script writing skills. Attendance to classes is essential.

What opportunities await me if I am successful at the end of the camp?

While your participation in the trainings continues during the camp process, you will have the opportunity to develop the ideas in your mind with your mentor. The ability to successfully put a successful idea into a script is a highly sought-after skill in our country right now. This camp can be the first link of a development journey. It can increase your self-confidence and make you decide to do this job. It can teach you your technical skill and how to manage your thoughts. All of these can make you an important screenwriter in the industry. We will collect the scenarios of all our participants in a pool and present them to the sector. We will open up opportunities. The main part will be your effort and labor.

I actually want to be a writer. Shall I come too?

Of course, being a professional writer requires a very different educational discipline. Being a screenwriter sometimes requires different disciplines than being a writer. Our recommendation in this regard is that you should definitely attend this camp. Because between classes you will learn a lot about the basics of being a writer. Writing is also designing. Our valuable design professors will give lectures to this camp. And most importantly, we will try to explain the essence of the business and share the expectations of the sector as quickly as possible in all courses.

Will I be able to meet with the important role models of the gaming industry at the event?

The screenwriters, producers, non-governmental managers of Turkey and world-famous games and many managers who can offer you a job will be with you on our discord server. Some will give conferences or lectures via Zoom. But what you write will be noticed by your mentor and a decision will be made about sharing it with the sector. Of course we will have some surprises. There will be some names that you will be very happy to see. Another topic will be Gamification. The best names of the gamification industry, which continues to develop rapidly, will be among us.

4 main themes have been identified. There are some things that I don't understand at all. Do I have to attend all classes?

Of course not. The themes we mentioned were designed to arouse the interest we need for the development of the IT Valley game ecosystem. You may be directly thinking of becoming a screenwriter for an animated series or television series. We will also have basic lessons and experience sharing conferences on these subjects. There will be many common lessons that the game ecosystem is also based on. Some lessons will explain how games came to be. Interesting experiences will be shared. All shares will be very valuable. Still, you can say that I am only interested in television. We can guarantee that you will benefit from at least half of the program.

Will I be able to access the training, conference and mentor support I received during the camp after the camp?

Informatics Valley has an LMS system. You will benefit from this system for some lessons. All eligible courses will be immediately included in this LMS system and you will have the opportunity to follow the overlapping courses on this education portal.

Will there be a competition? What about our scripts?

As IT Valley, we think that the biggest race is to bring out the best and the most beautiful. And we think that the best and most beautiful is you, our participants. As soon as you register for us, you win the big race and give us the opportunity to get to know you. You are valuable and your effort and labor should not be competed. We will create an environment to meet the needs of the sector and ensure that some outstanding works are shared. But this will not be a race. It will be more needs oriented. I have a Game scenario, can I find internship or support in IT Valley?

The number of game companies in the IT Valley is constantly increasing. In general, we are in close contact with sector representatives and game organizations. Of course there will be opportunities. However, instead of looking for investors or support in this camp, we recommend that you focus on perfecting the game scenario you have prepared and try to strengthen your presentation. If you think you have done the best and are ready, we recommend you to come to the IT Valley by joining the camps we plan to do in the summer months. Because in the camps we will do with game developers, you can have the opportunity to meet with design friends who will want to bring your scenario to life.
