Develop The game Stay in the Game!

We are holding our fifth Game Development camp in IT Valley on January 23-30.

There are many things we learned from the “Future with Game” camps. With the experience we have gained and the achievements of our growing family, the theme of INVESTMENT IN THE GAME will be prioritized in this camp. We prefer our applications from teams trying to establish studios and from individual developers and designers. In this camp, we give priority to our friends with whom we were together in the OG 21 summer camp and who achieved the team spirit by harmonizing with each other. Professional game developers, with whom we were together in previous camps, are with us as mentors.

We expect lots of investor visits to our winter camp where focus seminars and special conferences will take place instead of an intensive training program. We continue to introduce our friends from all over Turkey and many countries of the world to investors. We expect game investors, whom we will reach through face-to-face meetings and online presentations, to invest in game ideas or pre-prepared preliminary designs that stand out in the camp. We provide consultancy for investors who want to work directly with the developer team. At the end of the camp, we sign a contract with the teams that want to establish their studios and offer them at least 6 months free infrastructure and technical opportunity/support at IT Valley( Bilişim Vadisi )DIGIAGE Game Development Center. As always, we are breaking new ground with our OG22 Winter Camp, which offers unmissable opportunities for investors.

We expect our friends who want to join our camp to contribute to their teams or to the team they will join in the camp with certain features. For this, we expect you to have at least an intermediate level of software or design program usage skills. If you say “I know Unity or Blender and I can do the task given to me”, register now. If you say “I want to join the camp a lot, but I still have a lot to learn”, we recommend you to improve yourself with a teammate until the camp day.

You still have the chance to stand out from the reserve list and join us. If you say, “I have never designed a game, but I have mastered 3D design programs at intermediate and higher levels”, we invite you to join the Discord DIGIAGE Community. Because there are many teams waiting for you in our community. Once you bond with your team, they will allow you to enter the game ecosystem all the way to camp.

You will have the opportunity to attend the camp in a much more knowledgeable way by focusing on the topics as quickly as possible. If you say “I want to hang out individually, I can join a team by talking face to face when I come to the camp”, we recommend that you complete your deficiencies quickly online. However, we invite our friends who do not know anything to be patient until summer camp. In fact, winter camp is a journey of friends who know the subject, more or less experienced, to join a company. For this reason, our friends who are still going to university and have to go to school will have to think twice. Our friends who say “I can work and finish my school at the same time” should definitely register. By the way, it doesn’t matter what department you study at the university. As long as you have high motivation and programming skills to develop games. It is also important for us that you are eager to learn and self-confident.

Since the primary need of the industry is still hypercasual games, we will give priority to this in this camp. However, we are never closed to casual or midcore game ideas. If you say “Our team is planning a long journey and we want to show ourselves”, you must apply. There have been great meetups in the past 4 camps and many teams have achieved more than they were looking for. We have no doubt that we will have a strong and effective camp with industry professionals who will help you increase your options to reach your goals individually or as a team.

Our camp mentors are well-known brand studios and publishers, as in the previous winter camp. We have a lot to learn from these structures, which dominate all game development processes. From good game ideas to mechanics, from the details of impressive design to fine technical adjustments, you will have the opportunity to learn very important issues that will affect your future from the masters and mentors.

While we will learn what you actually need, the technique of the business, game design management and commercialization, we will learn together about the expectations of the industry, how to talk to investors and how to establish and grow a game studio together.

Our camp is completely free. The food and accommodation fees of all our participants are covered by DIGIAGE.

How will the transportation be?

Sunday, January 23, is our meeting day. Our participants are required to attend until 15:00. We will have shuttles for Gebze Bus Terminal, Marmaray and Gebze Center AVM throughout the day. Our shuttles will transport the participants from the designated points to the accommodation area and the camp process will begin.

Where will the camp be?

The camp will take place in Kocaeli/Gebze - IT Valley. Click for location.

Do I Have to Come to Participate?

You can participate in the camp online remotely. Online participants will be able to communicate with their teams and participate remotely in game development processes through the team channels on the Future with Game server on the discord platform.

Is there an age restriction for participation?

The age restriction for formal training "Physical" participation is 18 years and older, but there is no age restriction for online participation.

When will the application results be announced?

Applications will be finalized until January 20, and the participants will be notified of the results, either positively or negatively via Mail & Telephone. Do not forget to check your e-mail address until this date.

How about the accommodation?

Our accommodation type is in the form of bunk bed system or tent, dormitory or teacher's house. As we are in the negotiation phase, we will get information soon.

Will we pay any fees for events, training or meals?

Meals will be in the IT valley and breakfast service will be at the hotel with no charge. In addition, there are facilities where you can shop or have service such as Market & Cafe in the IT valley and the hotel area.

Where can I use my certificate?

Your certificate, which will be crowned with the signature of the leading institutions we cooperate with, will put you one step ahead in your job applications in the future.
